As you can see from the above summary, I had a busy week, which with the new direction my training is going will be pretty typical from here on out. Basically there was something going on almost every day, whether it was strides, drills, a workout, or some combination of those elements. I feel a bit like I went from training like an ultra-marathoner to training like a track runner, but that’s probably a good thing. It left my legs a little tired and sore at times, but that’s probably also good, as it likely means I was using muscles I haven’t used in a while.

I’m not going to go into a lot of detail on each various day this week, as the summary itself does a good enough job covering what I did. I do plan on putting up a recap of the race sometime in the next day or three. I missed getting that done for last week’s race, so maybe I’ll try to cover both at some point if my schedule allows the time to type it all out. I also want to post some thoughts on where my training is going and what my goals are short term and long. Hopefully I’ll get that done sometime this week as well. I promise my blog will become more active than it’s been recently here soon!

There’s just three weeks to go to CDR, so I’m looking for some good, solid training this week and next. Hope everyone is doing well and you’ve been able to take advantage of the nicer weather we’ve had over the past few days. Have a great week!
