Dueling Blogs

I'm also blogging on the Roanoke Valley Elite web site now. My first post, titled "Stubbornness and Stupidity," went up last night and can be viewed here. Many times I'll probably put the same posts there as I do here since I only have so much time for blogging, but occasionally I may do one there that's not here or vice versa. I do plan on continuing to put all my Training Summaries here and probably none of those on the RVE site.

I'm excited about the potential RVE has to make a positive impact on competitive distance running in this area and pleased to be a part of it. I've certainly never been anywhere near what could be called an "elite" runner and my best days are behind me, but I'm looking to contribute to the group in other ways while continuing to compete to the best of my ability as a Masters runner. We're just starting to get things moving forward, so stay tuned as the group develops.
