Total: 72.5 miles
Not gonna make a whole lot of comments on this week because I'm sitting at the beach as I type this and don't feel like taking the time to go into much in the way of details. After all, I've got fishing to do! Let's just say it was an absolutely great week of training that exceeded my expectations all the way around. The 18 miler on Sunday was sub - 2 hours (6:39 pace), and that's the first time I've done that in quite a while. I'm getting in a nice groove with the style of training I'm doing right now and I'm really enjoying it. The plan is to keep knocking out these sorts of weeks until the progress levels off, then bring in some hill repeats and intervals for a while before repeating the whole cycle again. It's pretty similar to what I used to do when I did all my best racing, and I don't know why I got away from it, but I sure am glad to be back! Ok, back to vacationing!
