Break Time

For various reasons that I'll get into sometime soon, I've decided to take a short break from running. It wasn't entirely by choice, but it made a lot of sense on several levels and I think it may turn out for the best when all is said and done. At this point, I'm not looking to do much of any running until the first of December, at which point I'll put into action a plan that I'm in the process of formulating now.

In the meantime, I'm taking part in what I call the most wonderful time of the year. Not Christmas. Hunting season. I've been pretty successful so far and had a lot of fun. I've also had great weather, making the time in the woods even more enjoyable, and I've seen a ton of game. I'll probably tell a couple hunting stories and post some pics in a couple posts I'll get up over the next couple days. I should have some time because unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to get out much again until at least Friday thanks to some nasty weather. Normally I wouldn't be too happy about that, but it actually isn't a bad thing right now as it will give me some time to process what I've harvested so far and catch up on some other work as well.
