This is basically just a quick follow-up post to an entry I made the other day about the successes of some local runners. Today, Runners World posted one of their Brief Chats with John Crews. It can be found here. Additionally, Flotrack posted an interview with Catherine White, which you can read at this link. Good stuff, and nice to see both athletes get some well-deserved publicity. I think both have bright futures and we can expect some big things down the road (no pun intended).
In other news, for anyone wondering, I'm in the process of scoring the final race of the Star City Distance Series, the half marathon held back on November 21st. I just got the file a few days ago and have been really busy since, but I should have it all done by the end of the week if not sooner. After that, there will be a little additional work to finalize the standings, then the awards will be handed out at the Star City Striders' Christmas party on Saturday, December 12th.
