So, there they are, the 2010 Brooks ID singlet and shorts. They decided to go with the Nightlife color, which will definitely stand out in a crowd. From what I’ve seen, the shirts and jacket (yet to be available) are similar, only they’re mostly black with the Brooks name and logo plus some highlights in the Nightlife color. Again, I’ve only seen pics, but they look really sharp!
What’s my opinion? Well, I like it. It’s snazzy, as Kaitlyn would say. There might be some unintended benefits as well. For example, Leslie told me that if I got lost in the woods in a trail race at least it would make finding me easy – ha, ha. The only drawbacks I see are 1) because of how much it stands out I feel like I need to be fast to wear it, and 2) as Howard told me, it’s like a big ol’ target.
In all seriousness, I think it looks pretty cool. Most of all, I can’t wait to get myself back in shape and don it in a race. Thanks Brooks! Good stuff as always!
