Finally, the Rock has come back to…wait, wrong sport (if you want to call the WWE a sport – ha, ha). Anyway, something is better than nothing, and that’s my synopsis of this past week. Obviously not a lot to talk about, just five easy jogs to test things out.

For the most part the results were positive. I had a few twinges here and there, but nothing constant and nothing too concerning. Saturday was my big test, and initially I passed it with flying colors. Unfortunately, there may have been after effects, something that remains to be seen. Basically that was my first run over hills and without the knee brace I’d been wearing. Additionally, I’d been dwindling myself off NSAID’s and it was the first run basically off those. I felt ok during and even good towards the end, probably running the fastest pace I had to date. However, I started feeling some pain in my knee after and continued to do so on Sunday, which I took off.

So, heading in to this week I’m just going to play things by ear and hope for the best. I’m definitely making progress, but I don’t know if I’ll need more time off or not. Only time will tell. One thing’s for sure; there’s no sense in pushing anything at this point.

Hope everyone has a good week!
