2010 Brooks I.D.

Just opened my e-mail a few minutes ago to find one with the subject line "Welcome to 2010 Brooks I.D." I have been reupped in the program for another year. I am really fortunate and very thankful to be part of the Brooks I.D. (Inspire Daily) program. If you're not familiar with it, you can check out the web site here. You'll even see a pic of yours truly on the right hand side of the page.

This will make my fourth year running for Brooks, and I can't say enough good things about them. Certainly I'm a bit biased, but I've never been let down by anything I've worn from Brooks, both shoes and apparel. I also love the fact that they are a running focused company. It's all they do, and they do it well. Furthermore, they give back to the running community in many ways, including sponsorship of programs like I.D., Hansons, and many clubs, as well as sponsorship of a multitude of races both large and small. It's a company that I can truly be proud to be affiliated with.

In any event, I'm happy and grateful to be with Brooks for another year. Now what I have to do is go out and represent, which is exactly what I'm planning on doing. Here's hoping 2010 is a great year of training and racing! With a new and improved focus and plan, I really think it will be.
